4 years agoNew York Islanders goaltender Ilya Sorokin is starting Saturday's clash with the Penguins, going for a ninth consecutive win. The Russian rookie lost all of his first three career starts, but he's been unbeatable since Feb. 16, and his winning streak includes a 2-0 victory over Pittsburgh on Feb. 28. Sorokin is 8-2-1 for the season with a 1.97 goals-against average, a .922 save percentage and two shutouts. He's already frustrated the Penguins once this season, but that was in a home outing. Pittsburgh has an outstanding 14-3-1 home record, which makes this a tough one for Sorokin.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
