2 years agoNew York Islanders goalie Ilya Sorokin will likely start to kick off the playoffs in Game 1 against the Carolina Hurricanes Monday. Sorokin struggled against Carolina in the regular season, winning one of four games. However, the Russian netminder had an incredible campaign posting a 31-22-7 record, a 2.34 goals-against-average, and a .924 save percentage. In 3587 minutes played, Sorokin registered six shutouts.
