Ian Happ Collects Two Hits Friday
2 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ reached base three times in Friday's 6-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds, singling twice and walking once while crossing home plate two times. The 28-year-old's having his best full season at the big league level, slashing .272/.342/.444 with 17 HRs, 71 RBI, 72 runs, and nine steals over 153 games. Happ's batting average has been a significant improvement from the .226 mark a season ago, and fantasy managers should be happy with his all-around production, even if he doesn't hit the 20-homer threshold.
