Ian Anderson Gives Up Five Runs On Thursday
3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Ian Anderson was roughed up against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday. He pitched six innings and allowed 10 hits, one walk and five earned runs while recording nine strikeouts. He has now allowed at least four earned runs in three consecutive starts. The 24-year-old has struggled in his third year. Over 10 games, he's gone 4-3 with a 4.70 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP. He hasn't made any notable changes in his pitch mix this year. We expect to see better numbers on a more consistent basis. He'll take on the Athletics at home in his next start.
