6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) was set to throw a bullpen session on Saturday, but it ended just 20 pitches in. Ryu has been on the 60-day disabled list with a strained left groin and had been showing positive signs towards a return with a successful bullpen session on June 12. His second bullpen session — the next step in his rehab — ended when he felt some tightness in his injured groin. Fantasy owners will probably let out a collective groan at this news, but Dodgers manager Dave Roberts did not call it a setback. Nonetheless, owners who are willing to stick it through with Ryu will have to hope his rehab continues without any more surprises.--Mauricio Castillo
