Hyun-Jin Ryu Recovers From Early Struggles
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu struggled early against the Red Sox on Sunday night, allowing five hits and two earned runs in the first inning. What looked like a short night for Ryu, turned into a solid outing, allowing zero runs the rest of the way for seven innings with six strikeouts. Ryu has now allowed two or fewer runs in 17 of 18 starts this season. Unfortunately, a late breakdown by the Dodgers bullpen took him out of the running for his 11th victory. Ryu continues to prove himself as one of the most consistent fantasy pitchers in the game.
