1 year agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun Jin Ryu (knee) was forced to leave early during Monday's start after getting drilled by a comebacker in the knee. Luckily, the X-rays came back negative for any structural damage. It sounds like the southpaw is feeling better on Tuesday. That being said, the team is optimistic that Ryu will be able to make his next scheduled start versus the Chicago Cubs. Possibly, the team decides to push Ryu back a day or two, but this injury shouldn't require a trip to the injured list.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
