The 24th pick in the 2023 draft had a decent junior year with the University of Florida, with a 4.16 ERA and 34.7% strikeout rate in 19 starts. The 21-year-old mainly utilizes his high-90s fastball and plus splitter, with a slider as his tertiary offering.
