Hunter Strickland Out With Fractured Hand
6 years agoSan Francisco Giants closer Hunter Strickland (hand) is out six to eight weeks after punching a door following his blown save Monday night. Relievers Tony Watson and Sam Dyson make the likeliest candidates to replace Strickland while he is absent and both are worth adding for owners who are chasing saves. However, this could be a committee situation depending on how manager Bruce Bochy wants to handle it, and former closer Mark Melancon could eventually factor in, too. If you're chasing saves, Watson should be your first target, followed by Dyson and then Melancon.
