5 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Hunter Renfroe (ankle) will miss about a week after aggravating his sore ankle on September 7. Until the slugger is fully healed from a lingering right ankle ailment, he’ll be held out of action. Renfroe was on the verge of a breakout season before enduring a deep slump, slashing just .169/.260/.291 with four homers since the All-Star break. For the year, he holds a respectable .788 OPS with 31 long balls.
