6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Hunter Renfroe blasted his 12th home run of the year Friday propelling the club to a 6-3 win. Renfroe came up with two on and one out in the eighth before yanking the ball over the left field bleachers to break the tie. The 27-year-old's play this season has been streaky hitting his home runs in bunches while struggling to make contact over other stretches of games. His 27.0% K-rate and .230 batting average is less than ideal, but his home run total and 26 RBI are carrying his fantasy value. With his sporadic play he is avoidable in shallower formats, but his pop appeals in deeper mixed leagues.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
