Hunter Harvey Tosses Scoreless Ninth
1 year agoWashington Nationals relief pitcher Hunter Harvey was asked to take the ball with a three-run lead versus the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday. Normally, Kyle Finnegan is the closer, but he was asked to pitch out of a jam in the seventh inning. Harvey didn't have many issues allowing only one hit in his scoreless inning of work. This save notches his fourth of the save as he continues to prove himself to be a reliable asset out of the Nats bullpen. However, Finnegan is blocking him from get regular save chances right now.
