Hunter Greene Picks Up Quality Start, Win
1 year agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Hunter Greene pitched six innings giving up zero earned runs on Sunday as the Reds beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7-1. The young flamethrower struck out nine while giving up one hit and walking four, allowing an unearned run to score. Greene needed 109 pitches and threw 66 for strikes on his way to his fourth win, lowering his ERA to 4.43 in the process. He induced 17 swings and misses. The Reds continue to stay hot, so Greene could find himself with a couple more wins to close out the season if he is on his game.
