Hunter Greene Earns Win In MLB Debut
3 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Hunter Greene helped lead the team to a 6-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves in his MLB debut on Sunday. He earned the win as he pitched five innings and allowed four hits, two walks and three earned runs while striking out seven. Known for his fastball, Greene had his heater averaging 99.7 mph in the start. The pitch generated a whiff rate of 32% and it was also victimized for a pair of home runs. This was certainly an encouraging debut outing against a tough Braves lineup. Greene lines up to make his next start on Saturday against another intimidating offense, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
