Hunter Brown Throws Six Scoreless Innings On Wednesday
3 days agoHouston Astros right-hander Hunter Brown turned in a quality start in a 7-6 loss to the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. Brown threw six shutout innings while striking out three, walking none, and scattering two hits in the contest. The veteran hurler unfortunately had to settle for a no-decision after handing a 4-0 lead to the Houston bullpen upon departing. Brown has been excellent for the Astros on the mound through three starts this season, posting a 1-1 record, 2.00 ERA, 0.78 WHIP, and 18 strikeouts over 18 innings of work. He will look to keep it going in his next start, which is slated for Tuesday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
