Hunter Brown Continues Quality Start Streak In Tuesday Win
5 months agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Hunter Brown continued his string of strong starts in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Rockies. Brown pitched six scoreless innings, allowing two hits and three walks with seven strikeouts. The 25-year-old had a poor start to the season, but he has now turned in seven consecutive quality starts. His overall record sits at 5-5 with a 4.37 ERA, a 9.97 K/9 rate, and a 3.59 BB/9 rate in 15 starts and 80 1/3 IP. His recent performance is encouraging for fantasy managers, as are his 3.44 xERA and 3.64 SIERA. Brown should have a chance to further extend his streak in his next start, which will be at the slumping Blue Jays.
