Howie Kendrick Is Fine After Leg Treatment
7 years agoWashington Nationals second baseman Howie Kendrick (leg) has gotten treatment on his leg and has proclaimed himself fine for Tuesday's contest against the Braves. He left Monday's game after his right leg tightened up on him and was replaced by Wilmer Difo in the game. Difo is starting at second on Tuesday, but Kendrick could pinch hit. The veteran utility player has split time at second with Difo and is off to a fine start. Kendrick has 12 hits in 35 at-bats with four RBI. He makes a good deep league bench player who is worth starting when he plays in that loaded Nationals lineup.
