How Will The Decision To Close Stewart-Haas Racing Impact Noah Gragson In DFS?
6 months agoNoah Gragson will start P27 in Sunday's Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway. Generally speaking, qualifying order is usually one of the bigger talking points that a driver has to deal with entering a race day. This weekend, however, there is a much larger issue looming over Noah Gragson and his Stewart-Haas stablemates, specifically, who will they be racing for in 2025? On Tuesday, Tony Stewart and Gene Haas made the official announcement that Stewart-Haas Racing will be ceasing operation at the conclusion of the 2024 season. Although rumors had been circulating about a possible shakeup within the organization, news of a complete shutdown caught many off guard. With the decision now made, Gragson, as well as his three teammates, will enter Sunday's race at St. Louis (Madison, IL) needing to make a statement, as their future in the sport may very well depend on it. Given that the 25-year-old was already having a solid season, one in which he has appeared in the DraftKings optimal lineup four times, this added motivation will only make Gragson a more appealing option each week. With this said, because questions about what sort of investments will be made by a team in its closing months remain, discretion is advised before going too heavy on any of the Stewart-Haas drivers. However, given that he does offer significant place differential upside and that he is reasonably priced on DraftKings ($7,500), it is recommended that you have some exposure to the No. 10 this weekend in DFS.
