Hogan Harris Back From Paternity List, Starting On Friday
4 months agoOakland Athletics left-hander Hogan Harris is back from the paternity list and will make the start on Friday in Philadelphia against the Phillies. Harris went on the paternity list on Tuesday but is now back after missing the last three days to make his final start before next week's All-Star break. The 27-year-old southpaw will be on six days of rest, and even though he's been decent with a 3.22 ERA in nine outings (seven starts) over 44 2/3 innings this year in his second season in the big leagues, he has a 4.63 FIP, 1.34 WHIP and an unattractive 18.3% strikeout rate. On the positive side, he's gone at least five innings in six of his last seven outings. Harris isn't a bad streaming option in AL-only leagues, but he should be avoided on Friday against one of the best lineups in baseball in the Phillies.
