Hideki Matsuyama Still Searching For Elite Ceiling
2 years agoIt's been a decent run of form to start 2023 for Hideki Matsuyama, making three of his four cuts with one top-10 finish. However, when you're a Masters champion and the former No. 2 player in the world, expectations are a lot higher than just making a few paychecks. Matsuyama hopes to show flashes of that winning upside at this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational, a place where he's made all eight cuts and logged four top-25s since 2016. If you still believe in the elite ceiling, this isn't a bad spot to take a shot, as Matsuyama can be found at $8,200 on DraftKings and as deep as 60-1 on betting boards.
