Hideki Matsuyama Has Been Stellar At Kapalua
4 years agoThe buzz around Hideki Matsuyama has steadily been picking up steam as we lead up to Thursday, and it is easy to understand why with the way the Japanese sensation has performed at Kapalua in the past. In his previous two attempts since 2017, Matsuyama has provided two top-four appearances, including a second-place showing during his trip here in 2017. The 28-year-old ranks inside the top-10 compared to the field in wind play, short iron proximity within 125 yards and strokes gained total over his previous 24 rounds, making him someone that brings course history, current form and statistical dominance to the table.
