Hendon Hooker Getting High Praise
2 years agoTennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker is likely to miss most of his rookie season after tearing his ACL in November. Despite that, some teams reportedly view Hooker as the third best quarterback coming out of this draft. Hooker was having a fantastic season before it was cut short due to injury. He threw for 3,135 yards with 27 touchdowns, while rushing for 430 yards and five scores on the ground in 11 games. Hooker could be worth the gamble for an organization that already has a veteran quarterback in place. The 25-year-old could sit and learn behind a veteran until he's healthy enough to play. It wouldn't be shocking to see Hooker getting drafted towards the end of the first round.
