San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos, who homered out of the fifth spot in the batting order on Opening Day on Thursday, is starting in left field and batting leadoff on Saturday against the Cincinnati Reds and left-hander Nick Lodolo at Great American Ball Park. Left-handed hitters Mike Yastrzemski and LaMonte Wade Jr. will start on the bench for this one with a southpaw on the mound. In addition to Ramos' two-run homer against the Reds on Thursday, he struck out three times. The 25-year-old Puerto Rican will be an everyday outfielder for the Giants in 2025 after he made his first All-Star team in 2024 by slashing .269/.322/.469 with a .792 OPS, 22 home runs, 72 RBI, six stolen bases and 54 runs scored in 121 games in his first full MLB season. Ramos will certainly be in play in DFS lineups in the leadoff spot. He's gone hitless in just two career at-bats versus Lodolo.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos went 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI during their victory over the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday evening. In the second inning, Ramos would knock an RBI single to third base, which would score Matt Chapman. Later in the 11th inning, Ramos would hit his second double of the contest, which scored Matt Chapman again. Ramos has continued to swing a hot bat over the past two weeks. Over his last nine contests, the 25-year-old has posted an impressive .375/.459/.625 slash line with two home runs. Overall, Ramos has held a solid .257/.323/.429 line with five long balls and three stolen bases. He continues to have an everyday role in the San Francisco starting nine. He will look to continue this productive stretch on Wednesday, facing Cubs right-hander Ben Brown.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos went 1-for-4 with a solo blast during their 3-1 victory over the Houston Astros on Tuesday evening. Ramos went deep in the fourth inning off Houston starter Hayden Wesneski. This was already his third long ball of the young campaign. Through his first five contests of the 2025 season, Ramos has tallied at least one hit in each game and has tallied five total extra-base hits, with three of them leaving the yard. He has added five RBI, scored six runs, and even swiped one bag. Last season, the 25-year-old appeared in a career-high 121 MLB contests and posted a strong .269/.322/.469 slash line with 23 doubles and 22 round-trippers. Given his strong start, fantasy managers should continue to start Ramos in all formats. He will face Houston ace Framber Valdez on Wednesday.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos is off to a nice start to begin the 2025 season. On Sunday, Ramos went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the win over the Cincinnati Reds. The 25-year-old took right-hander Nick Martinez deep in the fifth inning to mark his second homer in three games. Ramos is coming off a solid season in 2024 and is looking to build on it this year. He already has two homers and four RBI, so fantasy managers might want to make sure Ramos isn't sitting around on the waiver wire.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

It appears likely that San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos will be the team's leadoff hitter this year against left-handed pitchers, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Shayna Rubin. That was the case for Ramos on Tuesday in the Cactus League game against Athletics left-hander Jeffrey Springs. In his 123 at-bats versus southpaws last year, Ramos was dialed in with a .370/.439/.750 slash line and 10 home runs, so it makes sense on paper. The 25-year-old has hit a modest .231 (3-for-13) with no homers, one double and two steals in five spring training games, but fantasy managers should take those numbers with a grain of salt. Ramos will be San Fran's starting left fielder in 2025 and will see a boost in fantasy value with his move to the top of the order against lefties. His 20-homer power makes him worth of outfield depth in standard 12-team fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
