Hector Santiago Suspended 80 Games
3 years agoSeattle Mariners pitcher Hector Santiago has been suspended for 80 games after testing positive for exogenous Testosterone, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of MLB's Drug and Treatment Program. What a year for Hector Santiago, who was suspended 10 games earlier in the year for a foreign substance and now 80 games for PEDs. The 33-year-old is out for the remainder of the season and will miss the beginning of the 2022 campaign. Santiago finishes 2021 with a (1-1) record and a 3.42 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and a 30:11 K: BB across 26 1/3 innings in 2021.
