5 years agoThe Boston Red Sox placed relief pitcher Heath Hembree (elbow) on the 10-day injured list on Friday with a right elbow extensor strain. The move is retroactive to June 11. Pitcher Josh Taylor has been called up from the minors in a corresponding move. It's a big loss for Boston's bullpen, although Hembree wasn't very relevant in fantasy aside from the deepest of leagues for his ratios. The right-hander hadn't allowed a run in his last nine outings and has allowed just one earned run in 17 1/3 innings over his last 20 outings, holding opponents to a .119 average.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
