Hayden Hurst Catches One Ball In Preseason Opener
1 year agoCarolina Panthers tight end Hayden Hurst caught his lone target for a five-yard gain in a 27-0 loss to the New York Jets in preseason action on Saturday. Hurst started and dominated the snaps at TE for the Panthers on the first team, an encouraging sign for his involvement with the Carolina offense once the regular season starts. The veteran tight end had a solid season with the Cincinnati Bengals last year and signed a three-year deal to join the Panthers this past offseason. Hurst has some fantasy value as a backup tight end or as a streamer for fantasy managers who choose to wait on the position in drafts.
