Hayden Buckley enters this week's American Express ranked No. 157 in the world, his highest ranking yet. This will be the American's first time playing the event in La Quinta, so fantasy gamers will need to rely more heavily on his current form. They should like what they see. The 25-year-old has played just six events since getting his tour card, and three of those have resulted in top-15 finishes, including last week's T12 at the Sony Open where he gained strokes in all tee-to-green categories. He also ranks 35th on tour this season in approaching the green.--Greg Berning - RotoBaller

Hayden Buckley chalked up the second round at the Farmers Insurance Open to just having one of those bad runs. The American golfer shot an 80 to miss the cut and go home early. For as great as Buckley played at the Sony Open, he looked easily worse a mere couple of weeks later. It is that inconsistency which drives people nuts. Buckley ranks third off the tee so far in 2023, but a mere 92nd in putting. Again, it is that average putting and erratic shots which holds him back. Buckley needs to avoid making so many mistakes especially early in tournaments. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Hayden Buckley is very young at just 26. The American golfer turned pro in 2018 and has turned some heads. Last week, he could not get past Jon Rahm but no one did as the Spaniard led wire-to-wire. However, a second place finish is nothing to be ashamed of for Buckley. Since, the Fortinet Championship, he has made every cut (six straight, four top-20's). Buckley hits well off the tee (14th in strokes gained). As long as he avoids the bunkers (42.42% sand saves), Buckley could find himself in contention this weekend in San Diego.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Hayden Buckley is reasonably priced this week on DraftKings at $6,800. The Tennessee native has had an up-and-down year so far. He has missed seven cuts this season, but also has four top-15 finishes. Buckley will look to rely on his strong off-the-tee game in Mexico. Over his last 10 events, he has gained 1.3 strokes off the tee. If Buckley can continue driving it well and his approach play improves, he could offer plenty of upside at a low price.--Rob Giltner - RotoBaller

Despite coming into the week off two missed cuts, Hayden Buckley's game fits well at Pebble Beach. The 25-year-old rookie has had a nice start to his career. Buckley has three top-15 finishes in only eight starts since joining the tour. In his last 24 rounds, Buckley ranks 20th in the field in ball-striking and 25th in greens in regulation gained. Buckley has also excelled in hitting fairways. Pebble Beach has some of the smallest greens on tour. Buckley's accuracy approaching the green and off the tee should serve him well this week. Buckley may be low-owned as well, making him a nice sleeper play in DFS.--Rob Giltner - RotoBaller
