Hassan Whiteside Posts Double-Double In Limited Minutes
Hassan Whiteside posted 10 points and 10 rebounds in just 21 minutes against the Toronto Raptors Tuesday night. Whiteside has seen his minutes fluctuate all season, but the addition of Dwyane Wade gave optimism to a rise in minutes given their chemistry. So far that has not been the case, with Whiteside playing 26 and 21 minutes, respectively, in the two games with Wade in the lineup. Things don't get easier Wednesday night, where Miami plays the Philadelphia 76ers, and Whiteside will match up with first-time All-Star Joel Embiid. Whiteside only scored four points in 18 minutes the last time these two met up, and another poor performance could be on the way. Whiteside is a risky option for DFS Wednesday due to his high price and high volatility in minutes.

Hassan Whiteside To Remain Out On Thursday
Hassan Whiteside (foot) will miss his fourth straight game on Thursday when the team faces the Los Angeles Lakers. Whiteside is currently hampered by a right foot sprain. The Jazz signed Greg Monroe to a 10-day contract to help fill in for the injured Whiteside. Monroe logged 10 minutes in his Jazz debut on Tuesday and came up with four points and two boards. Meanwhile, Rudy Gobert logged 38 minutes on Tuesday and racked up nine points, 16 boards and three blocks. Based on the Monroe signing, it seems likely that Whiteside is still about a week or so away from returning.

Hassan Whiteside Draws Questionable Tag For Friday
Hassan Whiteside (foot) has been listed as questionable to take the floor for Friday's game vs. Charlotte due to a sprained right foot. Whiteside's fantasy appeal is directly tied to that of Rudy Gobert, as the 32-year-old currently doesn't receive a high enough minutes share to justify a roster spot in season-long or DFS contests. If Whiteside is ultimately held out, Gobert could receive a handful of additional minutes, while Eric Paschall is an option to serve as a small ball center. Per DraftKings' scoring, the Hornets are yielding the second-most DFS points on a nightly basis to opposing centers.

Hassan Whiteside Is Available Versus New York
Hassan Whiteside (illness) is available for Sunday's clash against the Knicks. The veteran didn't suit up during Utah's previous outing against the Los Angeles Clippers because of a non-COVID-19 related sickness. However, Whiteside will be back in the support role behind Rudy Gobert, and while he doesn't play a ton, he still has one of the highest fantasy point-per-minute averages this season, so he should remain on the radar.

Hassan Whiteside Sitting Versus Clippers
Hassan Whiteside (illness) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. He is sitting this one out due to a non-COVID related illness. That's not great news with Udoka Azubuike (ankle) sidelined as well. That means, Eric Paschall and possibly Rudy Gay will see more playing time. However, neither have enough upside to warrant streaming in most fantasy formats.
