Harrison Barnes Leads All Scorers With 26 Points
3 years agoSacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes scored a game-high 26 points in Monday's 109-104 loss to Phoenix, going 7-for-9 from the field and 11-for-11 at the charity stripe. After having zero turnovers in his previous appearance, Barnes ended up throwing the ball away six times, but he also had six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 36 minutes. The 29-year-old is averaging a team-high 22.5 points per game through the first few weeks of the season. He's also been getting close to nine rebounds and three assists per game. Barnes has failed to hit the 20-point mark just three times in 11 outings, and he'll look to produce another good scoring night on Wednesday against the Spurs, who will give him and the Kings a proper test with their good defense.
