Harris English plays golf like a yo-yo. He can be so great at times and then just be so-so too many others. The past two weeks have been the case of the so-so's. English just could not make enough birdies at two more wide-open tournaments. By the time, the American got going last week, it was far too late. A 65 looks great but when it is preceded by a 69-70-71, then it really is not. English ranks tenth in putting at 0.569 strokes gained but has been closer to average over the past several weeks. He has to putt well and strike the ball just well enough to contend. That has been too much of an issue lately. Until English shows that US Open/Travelers ability again, it is hard to trust his golf game right now. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Harris English is as ready as he will ever be for the 2025 Truist Championship. The American golfer won already in 2025 (Farmers Insurance Open) and had three Top 30 results in a row before a slight wobble at the RBC Heritage. After some rest, English looks poised to recapture his form. Oddsmakers seem to disagree listing him at +9000 on DraftKings. The Wissahickon course in Philadelphia can be demanding even as a Par-70. It may only be 7,119 yards but greens should get faster on the weekend with sun in the forecast. Expect the roughs to be rougher initially which could put a crimp in English's chances. If he can putt well on Thursday and Friday, English could be a sneaky wager inside the Top 20 (+210). --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Harris English has enjoyed an interesting 2025 season. The American golfer survived on a chaotic Sunday to win the Farmers Insurance Open. It was his first win in more than four years. English has had a more bumpy road since then. However, he wound up T-30 at The Players Championship despite a third round 76. Furthermore, he slid into a Top 20 at the Texas Children's Houston Open (T-18) behind a final three days of 64,66, and 68. English will have to improve around the greens, as Augusta can be a beast even in the best of weather. He ranks 127th at -0.159 strokes gained when it comes to working around the greens. That 65.67% greens in regulation will be the key between contending and finishing outside the Top 20. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Since winning the Farmers Insurance Open, Harris English has posted results of T73, T24, a missed cut, and most recently a T30 at the PLAYERS Championship. He now turns his focus to the Texas Children's Houston Open, an event he has played in seven times, making the cut in six of those appearances. To replicate his past success, English will be tested in all aspects of his game, with particular emphasis on his short game. He ranks 122nd in strokes gained around the greens (minus-0.122 strokes per round) but compensates with his putter, ranking 45th (0.325 strokes gained per round). He is also average off the tee, gaining 0.009 strokes, ranking 102nd on tour. While it is difficult to predict lightning will strike twice, English certainly carries momentum into this event. Fantasy managers may want to carefully evaluate their options at the $7,800 price tag he holds on DraftKings.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

Harris English missed the cut at last week's Arnold Palmer Invitational and is now focusing on preparing for this week's The PLAYERS Championship held at TPC Sawgrass. In 2025, English has one win and one top-25 finish. His performance at The PLAYERS Championship has been mixed; he finished T19 in 2024 but missed the cut in 2023. Notably, over 32% of approach shots at last year's event came from 100-150 yards. Over the past 12 months, English ranks in the fifth percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from this distance in the fairway. Including English in DFS lineups this week carries some risk.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller
