Harold Castro Hits His First Home Run On Saturday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers infielder Harold Castro provided the only offense for the team in their 15-2 loss to the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. Castro hit a two-run home run in the first inning that narrowed the score to 3-2, in favor of the White Sox, before the White Sox went on to score 12 unanswered runs. The home run was Castro's first of the year and it was his only hit of the game as he went 1-for-4. Castro has been routinely getting on base this year. Through 35 games, he's batting .290 and has only 22 strikeouts. However, he has just two extra-base hits, including Saturday's home run, to go along with 13 RBI and seven runs.
