Hansel Robles Picks Up 10th Save
3 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Hansel Robles notched his 10th save of the season in Monday's 3-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox. Robles entered the game in the seventh inning and allowed the runner on second to score but managed to preserve the lead, striking out a pair in the process. The hard-throwing righty lowered his season ERA to 3.86 with the effort and became the first Twins reliever this season to have double-digit saves and holds. Robles has had some shaky moments but has now pitched five straight scoreless frames, racking up six strikeouts in the process. He remains a solid source of saves and holds, albeit one that comes with a bit more risk towards fantasy managers' ratios.
