Hansel Robles Has 1.71 ERA Over Last 30 Appearances
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels closer Hansel Robles nailed down his 16th save of the season in the Angels 3-2 win over the Dodgers. Robles has emerged as the team's top ninth inning man this season and entered the month of May with only two saves before taking off. After a bumpy month of May where he posted a 5.56 ERA, he has allowed only two runs over his last 22 1/3 innings with 21 strikeouts during that span. He has converted 10 straight saves during that span and also is sporting a 1.71 ERA over his last 30 games. The Angels are desperately trying to climb back into the Wild Card race, making Robles an attractive pickup for saves moving forward in fantasy.
