Hansel Robles Blows Save Sunday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Hansel Robles blew his second save of the season in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Indians. Robles entered the game with a 5-4 lead in the ninth and walked the leadoff batter before allowing an infield single. He then surrendered the game-tying run on a Jordan Luplow sacrifice. Fortunately for Robles, the Twins rallied to win the game in the top of the 10th inning, giving the veteran reliever a win. The Twins' bullpen is a tough one to predict, given shaky performances from Robles, Alex Colome- and even Taylor Rogers. Sunday saw Tyler Duffey earn his first save of the season. Robles should remain in the mix for saves, as he had put together two solid ninth innings before Sunday's result, though it's by no means a given.
