Hampus Lindholm Taken Out By A Lower-Body Injury
1 week agoBoston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm suffered a lower-body injury in Tuesday's 3-2 victory over St. Louis. He left the game in the first period after logging 8:17 of ice time. Lindholm appeared to have suffered the injury when he blocked a shot. Losing Lindholm for an extended period would be a bad blow for the Bruins. He is the team's leading scorer on the blue line this season with seven points (three goals, four assists) in 17 games, and Boston's defense has already lost Andrew Peeke (upper body) recently. Mason Lohrei has come into the lineup, and further changes could now be on the horizon.
