Hamidou Diallo Returns To Pistons On Two-Year Deal
3 years agoDetroit Pistons guard Hamidou Diallo agreed to a two-year, $10.4 million deal to return to the club on Thursday. The 23-year-old averaged 11.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and shot 46.8% from the field in 20 games with the Pistons after being acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder last season. It'll be interesting to see if Diallo can elevate his game in an extra category or two, as he didn't crack 1.0 3PM, under 65% from the free throw line, or provide much on the defensive side of the ball. The Pistons also added the number overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft in Cade Cunningham, crowding the competition at the guard spots.
