3 years agoSan Diego Padres infielder Ha-Seong Kim is off to a rough start to his MLB career. Over 46 games, he's slashing .194/.247/.328 with three home runs, four stolen bases, 16 RBI and 14 runs. If those stats don't scare you, then some of his underlying metrics might do the trick. He ranks in the 6th percentile in xBA (.200), the 3rd percentile in xSLG (.299) and the 1st percentile in xwOBA (.249). He's been seeing relatively consistent playing time as the Padres have had many of their starters in and out of the lineup.
