Gunnar Henderson Goes Yard For 27th Homer
5 months agoBaltimore Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson continued his career-year on Thursday versus the Seattle Mariners. Henderson went 3-for-5 in the contest with a double and two-run home run. Henderson's home run would be his 27th of the season and he has now driven in 60 runs to go along with 13 stolen bases and a smooth .289 batting average. Henderson has put to rest any doubt of a sophomore slump this season and turned himself into a MVP candidate with his strong play in the first half. As someone who wasn't a first-round pick in drafts this season, Henderson has turned himself into one of the best players in the league. With his ability to help across the board and in one of the best lineups in the sport, Henderson managers should continue to enjoy the ride.
