Griffin Jax Grabs The Save Thursday
1 year agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Griffin Jax was used in the ninth inning of the 7-5 victory over the Texas Rangers on Thursday. He walked and struck out one without allowing a hit or a run to earn his second save of the season. Over 53 1/3 innings, Jax owns a 3.38 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 23.1% strikeout rate with 19 holds. The 28-year-old doesn't have much value in standard leagues, with Jhoan Duran closing the majority of games, but fantasy managers should be happy with his production in hold formats.
