Gregory Soto Earns His 13th Save On Saturday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers closer Gregory Soto closed out the team's 2-1 win over the Cleveland Indians on Saturday to earn his 13th save of the year. It was a bumpy ninth inning for Soto. He gave up two hits and an earned run before closing the door. He also recorded two strikeouts. Soto is the team's clear closer right now. Michael Fulmer and Jose Cisnero are next in line on the team, but they are both working in setup roles right now. Soto has recorded six saves since the All-Star break and he has a 2.96 ERA and 1.36 WHIP on the year.
