2 years agoDetroit Tigers closer Gregory Soto picked up his 26th save of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Orioles. Soto entered the game to pitch the bottom of the ninth up by one and delivered a 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout. Soto has had some blemishes but has been a useful fantasy closer this season, compiling a 2-9 record with two blown saves, a 3.44 ERA, a 9.16 K/9 rate, and a 4.91 BB/9 rate. The Tigers face a tough schedule overall for the rest of the season, so Soto's opportunities to help fantasy managers may be limited, but he is worth keeping in lineups for roto leagues at least.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
