Gregory Santos Escapes With The Save
1 year agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Gregory Santos was called upon to hold a three-run lead against the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. The right-hander has been a fairly reliable option for the White Sox this season. However, Santos ran into some trouble during Sunday's game. Tony Kemp smacked a one-out single, JJ Bleday added a two-out RBI double and Seth Brown tacked on a run-scoring single. After that, the tying run was on base with Jace Peterson at the plate. Santos was able to get him out and record his first save of the season. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect Santos to get many more save chances.
