Rodrigues had his moments, like knocking down Cannonier twice in the first round. Cannonier managed to survive and make a comeback. At the start of the fourth round, Cannonier sensed that Rodrigues was hurt and started pressuring him. Cannonier would ultimately seal the win in round four, dropping Rodrigues with a barrage of strikes against the fence. in 15:21 of action, Rodrigues landed 93 significant strikes. With the loss, Rodrigues is now 16-6 as a pro while being 7-3 in the UFC.

8 months agoOn Saturday, Gregory Rodrigues picked up a one-sided unanimous-decision victory over Christian Leroy Duncan. Rodrigues kept up the relentless pressure over all three rounds, punishing Duncan in the standup game and on the ground. In 15 minutes of action, Rodrigues landed four takedowns and 45 significant strikes. Coming in off a victory over Brad Tavares, Rodrigues has now won three straight fights. With the win, Rodrigues is now 7-2 in the UFC.

Rodrigues is currently riding a two-fight win streak, having stopped Denis Tiuliulin last August and most recently, Brad Tavares, back in February. DraftKings sees Rodrigues as the underdog with a salary of $7,900. Throughout his UFC career, he averages 85.2 fantasy points per contest.

Gregory Rodrigues Scores TKO Win At UFC Vegas 86
1 year agoGregory Rodrigues picked up a third-round TKO win over Brad Tavares on the main card of UFC Vegas 86 on Saturday. Rodrigues started out strong as he landed the more powerful strikes and outlanded Tavares 29-to-19 in the first round. Rodrigues continued his success in the second round, as he also went 1-for-3 on takedowns in the second round. In the third round, Rodrigues landed massive shots that hurt Tavares, and after landing some more punches along the fence, the ref jumped in to stop the fight. With the win, Rodrigues improved to 15-5 as a pro and 5-5 in the UFC, he could get a ranked opponent next.
