Gregory Polanco To Resume Throwing In January
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco (shoulder) will resume throwing in January, according to general manager Neal Huntington. At that point, the team will have a better idea of a timetable for his return. Polanco had surgery to fix a dislocated left shoulder and injured labrum in September and is expected to miss the start of the 2019 season. Despite being held to 130 games due to his injury, Polanco managed to a career-high 23 homers and drove in 81 RBI for the Bucs. His fantasy value will obviously take a hit coming off shoulder surgery next year.
