6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco (shoulder) will throw from 110-115 feet on Wednesday. Polanco ha no restrictions on swinging the bat and has begun sliding drills in his attempt to rehabilitate from shoulder surgery, reports Rob Biertempfel. The Pirates' Director of Sports Medicine said, "There is a scenario we're still discussing that he may get some at-bats before camp breaking. But nothing set in stone." Polanco seems to be progressing and it looks like the injury-prone outfielder could be ready by Opening Day.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
