Gregory Polanco Moved Down To Sixth In Order
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco will bat sixth when the Pirates face the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday at PNC Park. The 27-year-old, who sat out the past two games, has struggled at the plate recently, compiling a slash line of .182/.237/.364 with an astonishing 42.5 percent strikeout rate over his last 54 at-bats. However, he has hit three home runs during this stretch as well. Polanco has previously hit second or third in the lineup this year. With the Pirates struggling to score at home and Polanco scuffling this season against righties, we would keep him on the bench against Braves starter Kevin Gausman on Wednesday.
