Greg Ward Targeted Just Once In Week 2
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Greg Ward saw only one target in Week 2, catching it for a five yard gain. With Carson Wentz throwing 43 passes, it was disappointing to see only one go in Ward's direction. DeSean Jackson and rookie Jalen Reagor played in two-wide sets, with tight ends Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert seeing a lot of the field together, leaving Ward on the sideline for several offensive plays. He's worth hanging onto in fantasy given the propensity for injuries to the Eagles wide receiving room, but Ward cannot be trusted as a starter at this point.
