3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Greg Ward could start the season in a backup or special team role. Ward was the main slot receiver for the Eagles last year, but the emergence of Quez Watkins in training camp and preseason games may push Ward into the fourth spot on the Eagles wide receiver depth chart. Only one of Ward and Watkins will maintain fantasy value this season, and while it remains to be seen which one it will be, neither will have the kind of upside to be worth the low floor. Ward and Watkins should only be rostered in much deeper formats as a wait-and-see option. They should not be in any Week 1 fantasy starting lineups.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
