Greg Ward Could Have A Role In Week 1
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Greg Ward burst onto the scene last season after seemingly every other Eagles wide receiver got hurt. Ward was able to hold his own, though, and definitely developed a rapport with quarterback Carson Wentz. At one point in camp, he was leading the team in targets despite all of the other non-Alshon Jeffery (foot) wide receivers being on the practice field. Now, with Jalen Reagor (shoulder) also out for the first month of the season, Ward could have a role in three-wide sets alongside DeSean Jackson and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside. Ward is not a strong starting option for Week 1 lineups, but how he works in the offense is worth monitoring in deeper leagues.
