Greg Joseph A Risky Streaming Option Versus Chiefs
Greg Joseph will look to keep his perfect start to the season going in Week 5, as he has connected on both of his field goal attempts and all 12 extra-point attempts through four games. Although reliable when called upon, Joseph hasn't got much of an opportunity to put points on the board this year, and a matchup with the Chiefs could suggest more of the same. In what could be a game script where the Vikings battle from behind, there is the possibility that Joseph will continue to get limited opportunities to kick field goals. Fantasy managers should treat him as nothing more than a risky streaming option.

Greg Joseph A Low-End Option In Week 18
Greg Joseph will make his debut for the team in a Week 18 home matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Joseph was added to the team's roster from the practice squad earlier in the week and will serve as the Jets' fifth kicker this season. The Dolphins have been generous to kickers this season, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to the position but Joseph should not be considered a starting option for fantasy gamers still vying for a title in Week 18.

Greg Joseph To Kick For Jets In Week 18
Greg Joseph from the practice squad to their 53-man active roster on Tuesday, according to Joseph's agent. The seven-year veteran was signed to New York's practice squad last week and will serve as the kicker for their Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Miami Dolphins on Sunday. It will be the fifth different kicker that the Jets have used in 2024 in yet another disappointing season that will end with no playoff appearance. Greg Zuerlein (knee) came off Injured Reserve last week but didn't attempt a kick in the blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills. In seven games this year with the New York Giants and Washington Commanders, the 30-year-old Joseph went 15-for-18 on his field-goal tries while making all eight of his extra points. Fantasy managers still playing for a title should look to avoid Joseph in Week 18.

Jets Sign Greg Joseph To Practice Squad
Greg Joseph to their practice squad, according to Joseph's agent, Brett Tessler. The veteran is now on his fifth team of the season after spending training camp with Green Bay, briefly signing with Detroit's practice squad, and then having stints with the New York Giants and Washington Commanders. Jets kicker Anders Carlson had a brutal showing on Sunday against the L.A. Rams, missing an extra point and a 49-yarder that would have cut the lead to one score in the fourth quarter. Joseph is unlikely to hold any fantasy value, however, even if he unseats Carlson for the starting job prior to a Week 17 game at Buffalo.

Zane Gonzalez, Greg Joseph Miss Practice For Personal Reasons
Zane Gonzalez (foot, personal) and Greg Joseph (personal) both missed practice on Wednesday. Head coach Dan Quinn noted that, in an unlikely twist, both Gonzalez and Joseph are away from the team as they welcome newborns to their respective families. The former has been sidelined since Week 13 due to a foot injury, and it's too early to tell whether he'll return to action this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. If Gonzalez is forced to miss a second consecutive game, Washington would promote Joseph from the practice squad to kick in his absence.
